Martin Zint

Journalist / AG Erdöl

Martin Zint is a freelance journalist who has been specializing on West Africa and the topic of ‘media in conflict management' since 1995. He has been working for the Deutsche Welle, the German Public Broadcast company ARD, the Frankfurter Rundschau, taz (daily nationwide newspapers), etc. and, as a media educator for the Evangelische Medienakademie/cpa (protestant media academy), Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, InWEnt, EIRENE (German ecumenical peace and development organisation), the German Development Service, etc. In 1994, he co-founded RadaR - Radio Darmstadt, the first non-commercial radio station in the Land of Hessia.

Martin Zint is also the chair of the German Section of the Peace and Conflict Journalism Network PECOJON and a volunteer with the international Christian peace service EIRENE.
