Media Projects Manager, UNDP-Iraq, Amman Office

Jacky Sutton is a former BBC journalist turned media development expert specializing in post-conflict countries. She has worked with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization on food security information in the Horn of Africa and Afghanistan, and returned to Central Asia as UNESCO's regional Communication and Information Advisor for Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and Turkmenistan before a brief stint in West Africa. At the beginning of 2008 she joined UNDP as the Iraq Media Programme Manager. Jacky has a Masters degree in Constitutional Law and is doing an online LLM in International Information Technology Law and hopes eventually to return to finish a PhD in Media Anthropology at London's School of Oriental and African Studies.
