The Projektträger im Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (PT-DLR, Project Management Agency – part of the German Aerospace Center) is a research funding organisation supporting the Federal Ministry of Education and Reserach (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), along with other Federal Ministries, in the implementation of programme-related project funding. Bearing in mind the necessity and the importance of research and development for the science and business location Germany, the PT-DLR is committed to the interests of the community. It carries out the specifications of its principals competently and swiftly, thus supporting the acquisition and utilisation of scientific knowledge and technological progress.

Global Economic Symposium

During 28 - 29 September the annual Global Economic Symposium (GES) will take place in Istanbul, the European Capital of Culture 2010. Host of the GES 2010 is the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. The GES is organized by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), one of the world’s leading Think Tanks in Economics and the German National Library of Economics (ZBW), the world largest library for economics.
